Installation of LNG Storage Tanks

Wison Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Wison Marine”) announced today that its contracted Caribbean FLNG project, the world's first FLNG (floating natural gas liquefied storage device) The successful completion of the installation of three
LNG Storage Tanks marks a new milestone in project construction. As a key node of the project, the smooth installation of the tank laid the foundation for our next step of installing the main deck and the upper process unit.
The Caribbean FLNG project for the installation of LNG storage tanks will be provided to the Exmar Group by Wison Offshore in the EPCIC contracting mode and will be used on the Colombian coast. The project began construction at the end of 2012 and is scheduled to operate in the first quarter of 2015, which will be the world's first operational LNG production plant. The project is currently on schedule and is expected to be completed in April 2014 and set sail in the fall of the same year.
The three
LNG Storage Tanks supplied by TGE, Germany, have a total capacity of 16,100 cubic meters and a net weight of approximately 395 tons per tank. All tanks were hoisted in place by two 400-ton gantry cranes at the production base of Wison Offshore.
